Subject: Summit Financing Workshop Outline
Importance: High
Hello Everyone - - first
off – thank you all for agreeing to be a part of the May 28, 2003 California
Small Business Economic Summit.
Attached is a word document
which outlines the Morning and Afternoon panel discussions for the financing
workshop.
Here are a couple of
details:
Each session (morning and
afternoon) is full and has over 100 small business attendees each. (We’re over
1250 in attendance for the
overall summit!!)
This outline is meant as a
point of departure. Jerry Avila will be
the moderator for the panels.
Each session
morning/afternoon will include brief introductions (2 or three minutes a
piece) which will then lead to a series
of three
“case studies” which you’ll be asked to respond to. The purpose of these case studies is to create
dialogue with the audience.
The main goal of the Summit
is to provide real access to resources and opportunities.
As you are all very
seasoned experts in your field and are used to being in panels like this –
please remember that attendees
are looking for SOLUTIONS to their challenges
and issues.
Please arrive to the Summit
at least one hour prior to the start of your panel. The setting will be relaxed – as we wanted
to
ensure the largest number of participants as possible.
